What ACCW is doing in Mexico
|
We sponsor a loving Christian home for over 170 orphans or destitute children, in Baja, Oaxaca, and Morelia, Mexico. All the basic needs—shelter, food and clothing—are provided by sponsors. Besides helping them reach their God-given potential, they are given Christian education, vocational, language skills, art, music, folkloric dance, and drama training.
In addition, 135 at-risk infants were given round-the-clock pediatric nursing care and special formulas and medicines to prevent malnutrition and developmental disabilities.
Approximately 300 children attended vacation bible school at all 300 locations during 2004-2005.
Our Day Care Center provides a safe haven and preschool education for 30 children.
