What ACCW is doing in Bolivia

In Bolivia ACCW provides medical treatment services to children, teenagers, and their families in the village of Viacha in the high country above La Paz. The Christian Alliance Health Center is an important resource in Viacha. Basic medical training is also provided for clients, as well as treatment referral services.

From July 2004 through June 2005 ACCW continued its regular financial support for the clinic in Viacha, which treated 17,258 patients during that time, including 3,224 children. There were 289 prenatal consultations, and 1,220 children received special medications and supplements for malnutrition.

Dental care is also available free of charge at the Viacha clinic for all children.
